Exercise is ideal for creating a happier brain. By exercising, your brain will release endorphins and increase your serotonin. You’ll feel fresher and more energized.

Eat Healthily

Your diet is essential, and having a poor diet can make your exercising completely null and void. Not only does a well-balanced diet help you lose weight or tone up, but it can help you emotionally. Junk food or foods which are carb-heavy or processed, can lead to depression; it can make you sluggish and slow, and it will make you put on weight in the long term. While junk food may be great for a once in a blue moon treat, eating it every other day or once a week can greatly hinder your well-being.

Instead, you should be eating lots of fresh produce such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits and healthy fats such as avocado and nuts. If you’re craving chocolate, choose dark over milk or white. There are many high-energy, healthy alternative to your favorite comfort foods.

Improve Your Home

Your home can either help your improvement, or be your downfall. You need to “purify” your house so there are no temptations. Start by cleaning out your cupboards and fridge: get rid of any junk food or anything you’ll be tempted to binge on if you’re feeling bored or too lazy to cook a healthy meal. If you have the money and the space, you can also build a home gym and better your cooking appliances; making your house purer and healthier.
